Prellis Biologics is a seeking a Supply Chain Manager to drive the operational success of proprietary EXIS (External Immune System) technology and associated production infrastructure. The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for procurement, logistics, and inventory management. Job title can be negotiated to a higher position given experience.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze, initiate, and implement procurement efforts to ensure on-time delivery of reagents and consumables
- Drive overall sourcing initiatives to minimize risk, reduce costs, and ensure best continuity of supply
- Apply efficient inventory management practices such as JIT, cycle counts, kanban to minimize excess stock and expired material; Manage safety stock targets in a dynamic and changing manufacturing environment
- Develop and implement standard work around planning, purchasing, and inventory management processes; Ability to draft and implement best practices in the form of SOPs to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and productivity
- Works cross-functionally with end-users (specifically Platform Technical Operations and Production Portfolio groups) to forecast material requirements and develop production schedules that align with inventory levels and production capacity
- Maintain and report inventory on critical reagents and perform regular checks to dispose of any expired reagents
- Support the creation and maintenance of all site HSE policies as applicable by law
- Required to be 100% on-site with expectations to work in both laboratory and office settings

About You:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, operations management, business administration, or a related field with a minimum of 6 years of supply chain and operations experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of supply chain processes, including procurement, logistics, and inventory management
- Exceptional attention-to-detail and organizational skills is a must
- Effective communication, collaboration, and ability to work well cross functionally is a must
- Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Excel, SharePoint); Experience with an ELN and/or ERP systems is a plus
- Understanding of quality systems as they related to production operations is a plus
- Certification within either CPIM, CSCP, APICS, or Lean Six Sigma is a plus

The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
